Thanks! I've actually had a few customers from Pearland, TX (no one with a set of Five Stars yet). :)

The price of $775 is for a set of four (4) wheels shipped within the continental USA. If you need a set of five (5) the price is normally $968.75, but I can usually work out a discount on sets of five, so just give me a PM or a call when you're ready : (951)735-1100.

:) You're welcome! Thank you too! I love your pun, "wheel treat you right!" Maybe I should adopt that as my slogan? :D:D:D:D:D

Quick question, will there be any issues installing these rims with the stage 3 Icon lift and 285/75/16's? if not, I will be ordering soon! Thanks

There are no issues at all on the suspension side. You'll have plenty of clearance. What you will run into with 285/75R16 tires is some rubbing on the mud flaps, fender liners, and over fenders (solution is to trim the fender liners and over fenders in the affected areas, and to remove the mud flaps). It might be possible to keep from removing the mud flaps by having your truck aligned with the caster forward (also this is recommended anyway when changing to lower offset wheels and larger tires).

Aside from that you will likely have rubbing on your cab mount due to the tire size and wheel offset (the severity of the rubbing will depend on the exact tire that you choose). This will need to be fixed with a "cab mount chop" aka "body mount chop." It's a common modification, easily performed and concealed by a good fabrication shop. The cost for this modification is usually about $150 - $200 total for both sides of the truck.

265/75R16 tires do not have these issues, but with an Icon Stage 3 lift the 285/75R16 tires that you asked about are going to look a lot better. These modifications are very common with 285/75R16 tires, and I can link you to a lot of threads on TacomaWorld discussing them.

Just let me know if you need anything else at all! Thanks! :)

    I haven't heard of that. :confused::confused::confused:

    :D Good try though! :D

Thanks! I don't have any photos of them on a single cab first generation Tacoma, but I do have photos from my customer with an access cab:

:D I wish I could figure out the answer to that question too! But where there is a will there is a way!

    Excellent question, thank you guys.

The Five Stars are gravity cast using computer controlled procedures in an extremely state of the art facility. The lightness and strength of the wheel can be partly attributed to the casting procedure, but mostly it is due to the grade of aluminum alloy used. The aluminum alloy used to manufacture the Five Stars is 100% virgin - no impurities, and NEVER recast. Many (most?) manufacturers skimp on the alloy used or recast their defects. We know this because our factory segregates rejects and sells them at a discount to other factories for recasting. This ensures that every Five Star wheel (and every other wheel coming from FN Wheels) is pure, light and strong.

Any wheel is only as strong as its weakest link. Low pressure, counter pressure, flow formed, etc. cast wheels are great, but ultimately it comes down to the quality of alloy being used to manufacture the wheels. If there are a lot of impurities in the alloy the wheel will either have to be heavier to pass load and fatigue testing, or it will be weaker at a lighter weight.

Gravity casting has advanced tremendously in the last 15 - 20 years, and especially in the last decade. The manufacturing processes used in the factories that produce FN Wheels are so refined that when the processes are combined along with top tier quality, the end product is extremely high quality. Durable, light, and free of imperfections.

The Five Stars are 3rd party tested to ensure strength and rigidity as well. They pass stringent internationally accepted (JWL-T, VIA, SAE J2530, etc.) tests for radial fatigue, impact and more. The tests are tailored to simulate the specs of the target vehicles and to the intended uses of the wheel as well, to ensure that the wheel will perform under these circumstances.

The Five Star has been available for about a year and a half now, and many of customers have put them through extreme, real world abuse. The wheels have performed excellently:

This is definitely a wheel that you can enjoy for its subtle good looks, feel the performance from the light weight, and appreciate the strength when wheelin'.

Jon, I bought my wheels from Dustin. I can't say enough great things about him, his customer service, his business ethic, and quality of product he sells. You can't go wrong giving him your business: you're going to love the wheels even more when you see them in person, he'll work with you with whatever you need, and it's also supporting American small business of which I am a huge fan.

Oh man, that looks hot! Excellent combo!!!

Thank you very, very much. I just try to treat everyone in a way that I would like to be treated myself. I know there are a lot of wheels out there to choose from, so I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate everyone who has showed interest in our wheels. We try to offer wheels that we feel are different, better and have a wide variety of options. Definitely I will do whatever it takes to make sure anyone who wants access to my services / knowledge before and after they choose a new set of wheels has access to anything I can do for them. Even if you don't want a set of our wheels, if I can help I will. Just ask me. :)
