    It's is a awesome colour, the silver and chrome makes it look like shit but blacked out looks great. One of the best appearance mods was the bhlm.

    I'm thinking about getting a matte clear vinyl put on would look so sick.

    Desert Sanders why did Toyota abandon this color in their new Taco's? I was going to trade mine in for a new 4x4 Desert Sand, but now it seems 4x4 conversion is my only friend/enemy(cost 6K).

    I think it was because that was one of the least "pushed" colors for Tacoma's and I think they had issues with shading on metal vs. plastic parts with that color. I can see where my fender flares have lightened more than the body paint has. It is so very subtle though it doesn't bother me at all because I still liked this color from the choices I had in a 2008 model. I liked and wanted it so much I waited very patiently for 3 solid months. The salesman was amazed at just how patient I was. He even commented you never once called to check on it. I replied that doesn't make it get here any faster. He said please tell that to ALL my other customers. He said in ALL of his decades of being a car salesman he had never seen anyone so patient once they had new car fever. Little did he know I keep my vehicles until the doors fall off then I weld em back on. :)
