What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Does't your 03 already have the white face gauges? Or are you referring to the orientation?

 

yeah, i was referring to the orientation, the way the ford is set up would give me room for a trans temp and battery voltage gauge on the right side.

Filled it up, the needle was almost to the E, and i calculated i got 13.72 MPG.

 

That's what I get on city driving

 

Filled up 13.5 gallons today. 9mpg..... ouch

 

that number is why im afraid to fix my speedo. I drive 4 miles to work, truck spends more time warming up in the winter then it does driving. My city mpgs must be fairly close to yours

 

According to my UG I'm getting 14.5 average, that's mostly freeway driving.

 

I don't really drive in the city that much, both of my routes to my schools have me on the freeway for at least 15 minutes, and to the one school it's a 15 minute drive to school.

Ouch, did the MPG drop from off-roading?

 

Same, I live less than 2 miles from school so I spend more time idling than I do driving most days. Especially in the winter time

For my UG to show anywhere near 18mpg I have to stay under 1500 rpms lol that's literally just putting my truck in drive
