Thanks again. And sorry for the threadjack...feel free to reply in the mirrorless thread if you have inside info I haven't thought of.

I posted in the mirrorless thread that I'm torn between the Sony A7 with the 28-70 kit lens ($1,800), the Olympus E-M1 with the 14-40mm 2.8 Pro ($2100), but the X-T1 with the 18-55mm 2.8 kit ($1700?). I don't typically shoot very high ISO, so the lower IQ of the Olympus isn't a deal killer, and the high AF speed, in-body stabilizer, and huge lens selection of the Oly is making me lean that way. My buddy just got the A7R with the 35mm 2.8 prime and he's already in love with it, so I'm at least considering the full frame option, but in the smaller sensor. The problem with the Sony is the lenses are obviously limited, and will be pretty pricey and hard to find on the used market. The reviews of the X-T1 though, seem very enticing. I had originally decided against the Fuji X-E2 because of the ergonomics and the interface, but the X-T1 seems much more substantial with the grip, and the viewfinder appears to be second to none. DECISIONS DECISIONS! At this point it kind of depends on whether or not I can swoop a deal on a body and the lens I want either locally on CL or on the photography forums. I have a problem with paying retail.... All I know is that I miss having real camera gear in my truck and my portfolio is stagnant!

IMO the A7 is a niche camera for those who have to have Full Frame but don't want the size/weight of a proper Full Frame DSLR. Especially considering there are no lenses, the AF is weak, it's loud, etc etc

That said, I really do thing the Olympus OM-D and Fujifilm X-T1 are the best bets on the market. The Fuji can get faster, the Oly sensor isn't getting any bigger, but either is a good choice.

Things I noted while shooting with the OM-D E-M1: The 5-axis IBIS is awesome if you want to take a 1 second exposure of a landscape or architecture but it doesn't compensate for moving subjects. Since I take photos of people primarily the IBIS did pretty much nothing for me because they would move in those slow shutter speed times. So that's not an advantage unless you're shooting motionless subjects. Just to keep that in mind. The ONLY other downfall it had was the noise at high ISO and the lack of "pop" that a larger sensor gives.

IMO the Fuji (APS-C) really is the sweet spot between the two. Also, all of their existing lenses are going on sale this month. $200 off the majority of them, $250 off the 27mm prime pancake, and $150 off the 23mm and 35mm f/1.4.

Also, with the Fuji primes you get faster lenses and shallower DOF from the larger sensor on top of that. the 23 and 35mm are 1.4 lenses and the new 56mm (85mm equiv.) is a 1.2 so if you're a prime guy that is nice :D

B200 or 350? I have fond memories of this type aircraft from when I used to work at an FBO. I loved to hear those PT6As fire up and then the prop pitch change.

    Thank you!

It is a 200. I do love the sound of a turbine engine. Of course, since I sell fuel and it sounds like making money too :D Check out the website I made for my airport and let me know what you think if you have some spare time. www.claremoreairport.com

Thanks! I might have adjusted them for the shot ;)

What I'm more impressed with is the fact that even the lines on the tarmac are symmetrical about the same axis as the plane. Very impressive!
