    Bingo. If the plastic clips that connect on the BOTTOM (not the top, think bottom of the headlight) are bent (this will not allow the grill to be removed via above steps) just use a screwdriver and push the clips until they pop out.

    Yup yup. When I switched my previous grill out with a grillcraft mx, those 2 bottom clip/pins were a pain. I tried to be as carful as I could but one busted anyways. It all still went right back together minus one bottom pin. It stayed secure...you never would have even known it was missing.
