Worst advice ever for freeing up some spare time...
That's right up there with "Buy a house" and "Have children" :D

How's it feel to be the "noob" on the block again, Pugga?

Finally uploaded some photos of my old '99. For a 14 year old truck with 190k in New England, it was immaculate. Except for that nasty little bit of frame rust...
    Even the underbody was clean
    [IMG]
But the frame, it turns out...Not so much.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
My manager walks up to me yesterday and says he has a project for me. He has a friend that has a '10 Raptor and wants to make it into a reg cab. So I ask him "what bed is going to use" and he says "the same one". So of course I ask "what is he going to do with his frame" and he says "well he's going to cut it of course". So I'm like "of course who doesn't want to cut the frame of his nearly 60K truck in half"? Guess the guy has tons of money and not a big deal to him.

    I'm confused....
Wouldn't it have made more sense to buy a Regular cab 4x4 and then bolt the Raptor parts on to that frame?

I wouldn't know, it was one of the F150 threads on here :D I haven't and don't plan on joining an F150 forum.

Damn... guy would have been better off buying a regular cab 4x4 and modifying the piss out of it. It would be a better performer in the end and likely cheaper. Is he trying to keep the same wheel base so the rear tires are closer to the rear or is he moving everything forward?

Worst part is that I thought I found a cab for him right away but upon further investigation I found out they already cut the nose off of it. :(

Any of you local guys interested in buying a chain saw? A family friend passed away and his wife is selling some of his tools. He had 2 damn near brand new Stihl chain saws. I can get the exact model but they have 16" bars. She's selling them for $300, one has already been spoken for.

No, but if other tools come on the market I might be. I have a shitty electric one but it's just for cleaning up brush with all that fell last winter.

I guess he had a full woodworking shop but she's not selling any of that stuff. I think she knows how to use all that stuff but he had like 4 chain saws so she's letting a few go. If other stuff comes up, I'll let you know. Everything is in NY also but my parents are coming out next weekend and can bring the chain saw with them if someone wants it.
