okay, so i drove around with a bad alignment on cambering so much that my 32" BFG AT's were bald on the outside. so i needed some new tires right.... i wanted 33's, but really wanted 35's. i have a 3" lift on my 2000, so everyone said it would rub.....

    WRONG!!!!!!!

it did rub a minor amount to begin...

i put 35x12.50x15 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ on STOCK 15 INCH RIMS!!!!!
all i had to do was put a 1/4 inch spacer on the wheel and it cleared the UCA's. the front bumper is fine for now, but the back fender well trim needed to be cut a bit and the weld seam bent in but thats it.!!!!!!

trying to post pics..... update soon

also pics of the truck with full articulation...

35s on only 3" suspension lift has to be hitting the fenders when articulated...

And this is coming from the guy that ran w/ a bad alignment until the outside edges of your bfg's were bald?

I'd like to see what happens when you run over a bump. That tire is getting stuffed right into your wheel well. Also, running stock wheels w/ 12.50 tires is not a very good idea.

i was just thinkin... 1/4" spacer puts the backspace at 4.25"

how do 35s clear the stock UCA with only 4.25" backspace?

i want to see pics from the inside of the wheel well too...

    x2 on hitting bumps...

last year, i saw a 2002 on 35s with a 3" coil spacer lift and on speed bumps, the tires were hitting the fenders...

i am working on the pics now, heres the thing, i knew the alignment was off, just didnt care.. lol i know. the tires rub very sligtly when turning but not horribly. when turning and on rough surfaces it rubs more. i had to put the spacer to clear the UCA's, it clears seriously by between a 1/8 and a 1/4 inch,,,, like the tip of a finger. its insane i know. i am going to do the full OME kit and put the extra top plate spacer from Toyotec on to give the extra bit needed, also doing either the procomp rims from wheelers or some Ultra rims that have a -44 offset so i dont have to run the spacer. pics soon i promise, just working out some issues with the computer.

Well, you weren't BS'ing, but I question the safety and functionallity.

How much did you spend on those tires? One wrong bump and that $ goes down the toilet.
