    Hello folks,

    I've had the 3 leaf AAL & 1" block (3"'s of lift) for almost 2 years & 40,000 miles. I replaced the 1" block with a 2" tapered block & the shudder got bad. Axle shims, cb drops, none of them hepled. Long story short, I reinstalled the 1" block & ste the CB back in it's original setting & this worked out best. I still have take-off shudder but it's minor (to the point that of the 4 people who I had drive it only 1 noticed it & said it's minor) so I'm not worried about it. The more people in the truck the less it does it. When I tow my dad-in-laws boat I can't even feel it.

    5100'S @ "0" with OME 885 coil springs & 275/70R17 BFG A/T's
    (ground to fender base):
    FRONT: 38"'s
    REAR::: 40"'s

    HUB TO FENDER:
    FRONT: 23"'s
    REAR::: 25"'s

    NOW for the MILLION DOLLAR questions:

    Once I install the Maxtracs with my original PreRunner springs, in order to have some rake:

    1) Should I set the 5100's at 0?

    2) Will .85 make me level or higher in the front?

    Thanks.

    Too many to name....
    Try Bora wheel spacers. They can customize to your liking. They are made here in the US and also have them on mine. Can't complain. :D

    Go to this post below and see if your spindle adapter looks like the picture. If it does you will have to make some spacers like he has in the picture.
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/su...-lift-2nd-gen-prerunners-149.html#post7785853

    I machined some spacers for my TC lowers to Maxtrac spindles. Let me know if you need some and we'll work out a deal. I already sold some to another member here and he was very happy.

    Yes it can work with the maxtracs...hope you know how to use a grinder though...there are triangle gussets on the sides of the adapter that you have to grind down looks like this (. \|/
    You have to grind it so it will fit into the double sheer, it's a lot of grind and check and probably took me a few hours to get everything set up. But it's really solid and works great...could not get the abs sensors to fit due to the length and angle. So I just completely left the abs sensors un attached. Everything works but you just have no abs and the abs/brake light are on....I hate abs so I'm glad it's gone.

    Still going to need the spacers to fill the gap between the double shears and that spindle adapter top plate. Yours is going to have to look just like Anthony250f's. The gap between the double shears is 30mm. Spacer will have to be the difference between the 30mm gap and the thickness of the spindle adapter top plate.

    To those of you running these Spindles & NO OTHER LIFT for the front, can you measure the height from the ground to the fender base & provide your tire size also?

    I assume that spindles alone will give 1 more inch of lift over the 885x springs which will put me exactly where I want which is slightly raked. My springs are about 4 months old so they haven't sagged.
    Thanks.

    Thanks to what TACWUT posted, I now know what to set the 5100's at to still have some rake on the truck once I install the Maxtrac Spindles. It was right under my nose on the FIRST page of this thread! :rolleyes:

    I have 23" front & 25" rear (hub to fender height). I can set my 5100's @ ZERO & have about 24"'s of lift in the front. That will still have me at 1" of rake

    Basically, once I swap out my 885X's for the Spindles with 5100's @ zero & the original PreRunner springs I'll be increasing the

    front height by 1" via spindles,
    front width by 1.5"'s via spindles,
    rear width by 2.5"'s, via my black anodized Spidetrax spacers.

    This set-up should improve over all ride qaulity & appearance.

    Thanks to everyone who has responded & PM'd me with info!

    So who wants to help a bother out lol. I spent about 30 min on the phone with maxtrac on my rear end issue and we have narrowed it down but I don't get it. My rear end is point upward. Not straight like it should be. The are saying this is a big chunk of my issue on the vibrations coming out of the back. How do I get the rear end to sit back down how It is supposed to be. I know the blocks have to come back out which is fine will take me less than an hour to pull them and the shocks. But what am I doing to correct that.

    Has anybody figured out where the popping noise when its wet outside comes from after installing these? Searched but can't find it and it's annoying me now.
