:woot: the dealer heard my engine noise. I have waited till it was more consistent so they couldn't play the I don't hear it card. It wasn't nearly as bad as it has been till I left and got a mile from my house. I drop it next week for an overnight

It makes a load clacking noise. It doesn't seem to matter hot or cold. I drove it home from Boston the other day and it was making the noise when I pulled into my driveway

    It makes a noise. :p

Mine does that too, whenever it's running.

    Fun fact:
February 7, 1994 – Blind Melon's lead singer Shannon Hoon is forced to leave the American Music Awards ceremony because of his loud and disruptive behavior. Hoon is later charged with battery, assault, resisting arrest, and destroying a police station phone.

They don't call it 'Hooning' for nothing!

Ended up taking a different direction with the truck and picked up a BAK cover. The cap is being put on hold for a long while but I'll still at least have some dry, lockable storage for camping gear and tools.

$1000+ for a good one. Some might go for twice that.

Damn... I'm glad I spent $21000 for an SUV and didn't have to add a cap to it to make my cargo safe, secure, and out of the weather

Damn... I'm glad I spent 21,000 for an extended cab truck so that I can move my motorcycles in December without risking hypothermia or frostbite :D

Pugga, how much stuff are you hauling around with you on a regular basis that you can't just fit it in that monster cab on the F150? I Mean, I've got towing supplies, a GHB, and some basic tools in my dinky little Access cab without being short of room. I've even got room in back for a passenger (usually the dog).

    Not sure that'll fit Pugga's F150...
    Color looks close, though.

The one I want is pushing $2,000. The low end of the brand names start at about $1,300 for my truck.
Yeah, good luck hauling mulch or stone without dealing with a trailer in the back of that shaggin wagon. I seriously considered an SUV but I would tear the shit out of the interior. I'm used to having an open bed where I can toss stuff in there and, if it spills, sweep it out and maybe hose it once a year. A carpeted interior wouldn't stand a chance.
That's an awesome deal for that shell. That shell is over $2k new, I know that because the ARE Z series is what I wanted for the F150.
    No work today :D

For something like that, you could probably just slap a label on them and tape the hardware to the skid and send it on it's way. I go to one of those shipping centers and let them tell me who is cheaper. I went in with 3 things to ship and they all went with different carriers. If you get general dimensions, go to the big 3 websites, enter them in and that should tell you who will be cheaper.

    I worked 2 1/2 days this week :D
I use usps . But for the skids I'm not sure what would be the cheapest route.

Thanks. I brought a couple of boxes home to package the pieces but that sounds easier
