    I see no reason for that, its only about 25lbs more than the stock battery and the area under the battery tray is pretty rigid.

    The solid bottom of the tray spreads the load out and will be perfectly fine, no worries about that.

    Looks good, plenty of juice now.

    For reference, I ran my stereo for over 6 hours a few weeks ago at damn near full crank and battery took it like a champ. Stereo is pretty power hungry. Stock battery couldn't go 30 minutes.

    This might become obvious when mines comes in, but for installation, do you take out the stock plastic tray, put the bottom of the cage down, lock it down with the J hooks, drop the battery in, then the top half of the cage, then secure that down with the 4 corners and connect terminals as normal?

    I have not installed mine yet but your procedures appear to be correct. Only don't drop that bitch of a battery in gently set it in. Dropping that heavy thing in might crumple the entire front corner of your truck. :p :D

    That's basically it, probably best to get the lid locked down before tightening the j-hooks all the way, the bottom half can flex some w/o the lid attached and might make it a little more difficult to get the M6 screws started on the lid.
