Quick question. I haven't been off road since install but the front coils look like they would turn into a pipe on a heavy compression. damege9u_6520286c19f456a850174f160f83eadc2e86baaf.jpge4eqyrah_3beb8a04c47d5e0780d9dd26f8251793540541a1.jpg

    Hey BostonBilly,

On full compression you will find that the coils bind up and turn into a "pipe", but the spring rate of the springs is stiff enough that it takes a lot of force before you suffer from coil bind (and at that point you're hitting your bump stops).

We add more turns into our springs to allow more downwards flex, but you will as a result loose a little bit of upwards travel (but not significant or noticeable amounts). But overall I doubt that you'll notice the coil bind unless you are really slamming down on the front suspension hard (and at that point you'd be hitting your bump stops anyway).

Does that make sense? If not let me know and I'd be happy to clarify more.

    Cheers,

    Matt

Hi Matt, would you happen to know the compressed lenght of the coils?

Thanks for the info. You are correct, bump stop before full compression.

Welcome to the site! Don't know why I didn't see this before. I was one of the first here to throw your lift kit on, and keep telling others to buy it as well!

Good luck with that, I think they packed up and went back home and no longer deal here.

Their venture seemed very short lived and I think that's because they were competing against a company that is very proven and offers a lot of similar product, ARB.

    Hey uncle,

Poop I'll answer quickly as I'm out on the tracks at the moment typing on a phone.

Our performance springs are rated for 0-50kg of load and our constant load are 50-110kg.

    Hope that helps!

Really should have made a statement on here earlier as there continues to be a lot of confusion as to the future of Ironman 4x4 in the US and North America.

We aren't leaving the US! We are currently going through a restructuring of our North American operation, and during this time our stocks are going to be tighter, but I can assure you we plan to stay in the US and continue to sell our products to you!

If you or anyone has any questions, please feel free to shoot us a PM. I'll do my best to answer any questions you have.

    Cheers,

    Hey Uncle,

Yeh sorry about that, didn't realise you want spring rates and not ratings (I couldn't convert them to imperial either; too difficult on a phone whilst in the middle of the bush):

    TOY055C - 145N/mm Spring Rate. (Comfort)
    TOY065B - 151N/mm Spring Rate. (Performance)
    TOY065C - 168N/mm Spring Rate. (Constant Load)

    Cheers,

    Matt
