I just got these installed a couple hours ago and I'm pretty excited about it.

I couldn't stand my Rugged Trails(Fails*) and I wanted a good all around tire. I picked these even though my truck is a PreRunner. I could've gone the BFG AT route, but they're quite pricey, plus I really like the look of the Authority's.

Hopefully they work out great and I don't look like too much of a douchebag for running them on PreRunner. :D

First hand experience, these tires put the BFG A/T to shame. Good choice!

Did you have wally world install them? If so, did they have/use the correct low-profile Toyota-style wheel weights? (do they sit flush into the lip of the rim?)
And on a 2013, if I'm just replacing the tires, I shouldn't need to re-learn the TMPS, should I?

I can get a picture today and let you check it out. They look fine to me.

I think it would only have to relearn the TPMS if the sensor got moved to a different wheel, but I could be wrong, I just know that's how it was on my Chevrolet.

I can't wait for my hankooks to wear out so I can get these. Anyone go from p rated hankooks to these? Mpg and any other differences? Love my hankooks, but like the more aggressive look of these.

No problem. Thanks man I like it.

The guy said those weights were hard to work with because of that bead the tire makes, you can tell how recessed it is.

Well, wally world wouldn't install them since they were up-sized. But I went to the shop where I used to work and threw them on. They all balanced out pretty easily(2.00oz or less each side), aside from one that took 6.75oz on one side and 2.00oz on the other [IMG] ...oh well, got it to balance out anyway. [IMG] I used pound-on weights on the inside lip, and low-profile tape-weights for the outside(right behind the spokes, even the 6.75oz clears the caliper) so I didn't have to worry about trying to pound on the wrong type of weights. I'll just have the dealer re-balance everything when I take it in for my next ToyotaCare service. Love the way they look, they handle fine(like a truck), and the noise isn't that bad. Awesome buy!

That's pretty impressive. I'm assuming you plugged/patched it after removing the wrench?

Those tires are starting to look a little worn. How many miles?

The guys at walmart took care if it. I couldnt get it out. It didnt go all the way through the tire. The tires now are at around 14,000. They still have a good amount of tread and look brand now with some tire cleaner.

    Thank you Maticuno,

I just ordered four of these in 265/70/17 from Walmart due to your thread and review. I'm glad that I stumbled across your post. Picking out tires is HARD! :D

Here it is. Now it LOOKS like a truck IMO. Like I posted in other threads, I did have to air up the Rear bags a little so it wouldn't sit nose high with the 5100's at 1.75.
