I just upgraded my phone from iPhone to Galaxy S3. When pairing up via bluetooth with the iPhone, Pandora information (artist, song, album) would show up on the audio screen. Now when I pair the Galaxy, Pandora information does not show up; all the screen says is "No Data" for all three fields. However, when playing songs from my phone library, the information shows up. So is this just a feature of the Pandora App for Android vs. iPhone? Anyone have other ideas as to why it may not transmit this data from the Galaxy?

Well i'm glad you did. I just bought a '13 Tacoma a few weeks ago and It drives me crazy that the information doesn't display on the screen. I have a Galaxy S3. The information doesn't display when using Pandora and it doesn't work when using Spotify(non-streaming, the files and even album art are stored on my phone)

Ive been trying to google this issue but I haven't had any good results.

Same problem here... The Spotify forums had me excited for Jelly Bean 4.3 with AVRCP 1.3 (metadata support). After my Galaxy S3 upgraded to 4.3, the problem still existed.

I just upgraded to a 2014 Entune system... same problem. I'm loving the Entune radio with Nav though.

its an android thing unfortunatly.... but that lil con doesnt out weigh all the pros of android... like the fact i have pandora on my nexus 4 that has unlimited skips and unlimited hours of playback.

Cant say its an android thing. I use Slacker radio and with my previous phone (Sony Xperia ZL) nothing would show up. I just upgraded to the new Xperia Z1 and it shows song and artist, since slacker dosnt list the album it shows up (NO DATA)
This is on a Canadian 2013 no obviously no entune.

A couple months back, my phone got updates for both Android (v.4.4.2) and Spotify (v idk). The next time I drove in my Taco, I saw album art and meta data on the screen. Woohoo! I believe it was the Spotify update that fixed it, but I'm not certain.

    Cheers.
