Hey guys I want to lift my taco soon but I'm struggling deciding on what lift to go with. I don't want to pay more than $500 right now so I can put money into other stuff for the truck so I was looking into the 3 inch Rough Country lift because my local shop where I get all my work done is a Rough Country dealer. The Rough Country kit uses strut extensions up front and lift blocks, u bolts and new shocks in the rear. The kit is $250, could have it installed and out the door for under $450. Now on the 5100's, what is required to get 3 inches of lift out of it? Do I need them on all 4 corners? Can I run stock springs with them? Forgive me if I sound clueless, but I kinda am when it comes to piecing together suspension parts lol. I just got a set of 265/75/16 hercules trail diggers and I was wanting to run some Spidertrax spacers to give it a more agressive stance as well. So basically, what would you guys recommend? If you have any experience bad or good I'd love the comments!

    Getting there...
Rear lift comes from an AAL/leaf pack, or blocks in the Rough Country case. Go 5100 with an AAL or new pack in the back.

Another option I was considering was to get 5100 billys and ome 885 lift springs.

I vote neither. Save up for Icon, King, Fox, or something else that would actually improve the ride and performance of a great truck. I really hate to sound negative but honesty isn't always happy.

2 inch lift. LED fog lights (Cali fab) Alpine head unit. Kicker door speakers. Skar subwoofer.
I'd say Bilsteins.. Everyone seems to love them on here, plus i heard the ride quality is awesome with them!

Def go this route 5100's set at 0 885 ome springs and in back add the icon or wheelers 3 leaf progressive pack . You will get a better ride doing this versus cranking up 5100's and the 3 leaf will also give you a better ride over a single add a leaf.
