i cant really take biumps yet without it rubbing, also when i am backing up it rubs more. i am getting the Ultra Rouge 15x10 with -44mm offset this week, next is the OME full kit, i ordered the polyurathane 1"spacer too to shove the front up a bit more to make sure i can actually bounce a bit without rubbing. FOR NOW all i really do is drive, no offroad. but give me a month or two and i will be mudding again. the tires normally are just over 200 a piece, i got themfor 140 each. they are all terrains which helps with the milage since i drive about 1000 miles every month on the highway.

pretty good though hu, post more pics soon ok.

heres more, again, it still rubs a bit when i turn, and it rubs when doing simple offroading, but not as bad as you would imagine. but that will all be fixed with the new rims and the suspension. AGAIN I ALREADY HAVE A 3" LIFT, DO NOT TRY TO STUFF 35'S UNDER A STOCK LIFT. LOL

I dont doubt they wll still rub, but i dont do agressive offroad, so i dont think i will rub them very much at all. i more so like just rolling through mud and getting all dirty

SO....Everyone was RIGHT, then. It does rub. And it looks like it could damage your truck, or tire if driven for any distance.

besides the saftey factor and all that, u basicaly defeated the purpose of being able to put anything in the bed of your truck, cuz if u do its gona rub ur back tires... gota say this is just a bad idea

No offense, but I don't think the truck looks good AT ALL! You have no room for articulation and that defeats the point of your lift...you need to hurry up and jack that bitch up another 3 inches before you really damage something. I don't wanna seem mean or anything I just don't want you to hurt yourself or the truck! But I gotta give ya props for fitting the 35s lol :D

also, without regearing, i wonder how much added stress such big tires will put on bearings, axle seals, drive train, and yolks?

pushing them big tires through mud just has to lead to some serious carnage...

Not anymore than the stock size, as far as the bearings, and seals. Tire size doesnt impact them. I dont think it would be any different than someone running them on a truck with a 6" lift. Lots of 35's out there on mostly stock drive components.

i suppose driving style impacts that too...

one of my boys is running 35s but the truck never leaves the pavement...

a couple others are running 35s and 37s but they wheel pretty aggressively and they break drive components regularly...

even with my 33s, im busting rear axle seals annually...

35s are pretty heavy, and pushing them through the mud just sounds painfully stressful...

I think the mud has more to do with the axel seals than the tires. ;)

wow, never thought i would hear so many negative comments, well lets address them..
    1. regearing is not needed unless you plan on putting major stress, i am not.
    2. if your busting seals with 33's even then we are all doomed, i would check at what is wrong with how the seals are being installed
    3. i actually have been driving on these for about 750 miles so far, day i bought them i drove 250 miles from Albuquerque to Portales so yeah distance on them is fine.
    4. power loss really is not bad, actually it feels more more powerful in the lower end and i accellerate quicker too.
    5. the rubbing during turning will be fixed when i put the rims on which will bring the tires out further from the frame and UCA's, so not a big worry there
    6. load in the back is not a problem, just today i tested that with my R6 in the bed for a 40 mile highway drive from Portales to Clovis and back, so thats fine.
    7. as far as looks go... to each his own, i like how it looks and think tacomas with a 6" lift and big ass tires look like Tonka Toys, but like i said, to each his own.
    8. WHY SO MANY NAY SAYERS? i just did something most say is impossible and it has been fne for a week. i have had many compliments and as soon as i get the rims and new suspension components i think it will not only look better, but be almost as usable as if they were 33's.

but again, to each his own.

Not trying to be a "Nay sayer", but I have seen the cutting involved in trying to get 35's to clear on a 3" lift. Your rig looks like the tires are/would have a rub fest on your truck.

hey, your right, it does rub, but i was talking about the people saying it will rub so bad that it wont work at all, this rubs so minorly and only during certain things that it might as well not rub at all, seriously it is not that bad really, and the rims i am putting on and the extra 1" spacr will fix that no problem.

but i guess your right, it does rub,,,, just a tiny bit.

i thought that samething, but really all i did was cut some of the plastic off the fender liner and hammer in the weld seam and thats it, i will post pics of it tomorrow, it really didnt take too much at all. my bro said i would have to cut the front bumper, but i really didnt want to, so i didnt, and it worked out okay. but yeah i am putting a extra lift spacer up front and when i get that and the rims i think it will have no trouble at all, probably still in full articulation, but hell, my 33's were rubbing in full steer too, to me it isnt that big a deal, i just dont get too agressive on the dirt anyways, so really it is more for look, but i also got them cause it was a good price and it created an extra 1.25 or more lift with out using a suspension or body lift.
