It takes time I sure in the hell didn't start with it. I just bought it in October I figured it was time to upgrade and I'm glad I did we can bust out well over 500 180 degree bends in a day.

I've watched you go from garage to shop to investing in new tools as the business grew. Always impressed with your choices and how each has made today better and tomorrow possible.

Yeah there is a lot involved in running a business. It takes a lot of risks doing what I did quitting my job and jumping into this head first. No risk no reward in my book. It's a great feeling starting a business from the ground and building it to what it is today.

I agree. I started my shop with no capital, just the tools from my garage after I was fired from my last job. I was tired of making half the salary as the lazy girls in the office keeping track of my job ours and a few choice comments on their laziness got me fired. So I went on my own. 3 years later my business is thriving, and I'm able to support me and my son and be in control of my own future

This might be me in a while. No one in out design office is a engineer so im constantly back tracking and reengieering stuff. Right now my project has been at a standstill for a week and a half because of misengineering

Well then you might understand this. Matter of fact everyone here should understand this. We have a 30 35 40 and 45' steel arches that are getting aluminum sheets on top of the steel to cover it up. There are pick points on the steel and cut outs in the aluminum for access doors so they can pick it up and hang it over the road. They designed all the panels the same thinking that the pick point was in the same spot on every arch. Common sense says that the 30' arch has a pick point at 15' from each side and the 45' arch has a pick point of 22.5' from each end. So I had to go back and remake all the panels and wait for them to get back from paint again. Ive done nothing at work for the past 3 days.

And the designer had the audacity to ask me if I fabricated it correct. Haha

Sorry for the rant. Im not happy with my current job right now if you cant tell

Yeah same here i started in my home garage working part time. I used all the profits for buy equipment wile I had no over head and then had to move to a larger space. I hope to stay in this shop for at least two more years but at the rate the company is growing I'm not sure that will happen. At only 2000sft total we just had to knock out an office to make more shop space.
