    maybe a better welder will correct me but need mo heat too. not getting a lot of penetration. gets better with practice :thumbsup:

    how are those brackets going to work for you?

    Yes, I figure I'm stretching the limits of this welder doing 3/16" steel.

    They'll work well! Haven't mocked up the quick fists yet but it fits the bill.

    We might have one at work, can't remember and it's been a while since I've been over there. Got a bunch of stuff to do on the truck before April, need to start knocking the list down every weekend. At least she sleeps inside now and I can leave it dismantled for days if need be.
