Lets see the leveled trucks

I am thinking of simply leveling my Taco for financial reasons and not doing the full lift. Who has some pics of trucks that have just been leveled and not lifted?

FYI--- I had the TSB done on my 09 so the rear sits a little higher. That was about 2K miles ago, so I would THINK it has settled all it is going to settle by now.

One more thing, measuring at the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender well---
F--35"

X2 on the 5100's. Set them at 2.5" lift and you're right there in the ball park.

 

While that doesn't seem like a bad option, for an Extra $50 I can do the full lift. My buddy has a rough country 2.5" kit on hist Taco and didn't lose any ride quality or anything. They are about $250. So I was looking at leveling because you can get the spacers for under $100 easy. No one has pics of their trucks leveled, and not lifted?

 

There are pics everywhere of people with leveled trucks, search through. I would say 95% of people use the 5100's for leveling as opposed to only spacers.

 

Definitely go with the Bilstein 5100's.

 

I have 5100's in front with TSB in the rear, pretty much leveled, slightly higher in the front (maybe .25 inches) and adds a noticable amount of lift..i like it, ill get pics as soon as i find my memory card.

 

This is my truck when I had the leaf spring TSB and 5100's set at 1.75. Notice the steps in relation to where the street meets the grass. Looks pretty level. Actually, the rear sat .5" higher than the front.

 

Is an alignment needed after raising the front end??Seems if factory settings are altered then everything should be altered. just wonderin"!!

Yes, it's strongly recommended.

 

Definitely. If you go to 2.5" you'll probably need new UCA's if you want it to be right...I did, and I'm glad for it too.

Try to stay away from a spacer lift. People on here who have/had them say they wish they would have went a different way.

 

havent gotten an alignment yet, but I thought new UCA's are recommended for 3"+ lifts??

x3, just recently got rid of my spacers on the front, and blocks on the rear.
Replaced with Billys set at 1.75 and add a leaf rear. Night and day difference.
Also going to purchase a set of Bilstein 5125's 9" to compliment the back end.

 

You don't need no stinking leveling kit!

Save yourself some money..... put 200lbs of weight in the bed for a couple months and the TSB will definately settle. Trucks are supposed to rake....

You can't even see that it has any rake at all...(bed is empty)
