It may have posted from my phone upside down...it does that some times....looks fine to me but it happens on some screens :(

Not the way i have been trained to use them. Notice where it is, i can see down the whole side of the vehicle at a quick glance for merging purposes (so i don't have to look over my shoulder like they teach you in drivers ed). The one on the passenger side is in the same place so i can see how close my rear tire is to the curb when parallel parking.

Looks nice! Just a piece of strap steel?

Where do you work btw if you don't mind me asking? I see a green 1st gen on 270 North almost every day on the way home from work. He has a color matched Leer fiberglass tonneau too. haha I get off at the Germantown exit and he keeps going north towards Frederick.

Huh. Well you have a twin then! Haha there's an older guy (looks to be at least mid/late 50s) in Mt. Airy that drives a lifted 2nd gen super white DCLB with TRD FJ wheels and a Leer cap. It's a really nice truck but I've only seen him twice on 270 and once in Mt Airy so I haven't gotten to say hi or anything.

Interesting, are your convex or concave? ive got convex that specifically say to go on the outside edge and they do the same thing yours do for me, got a passenger one waiting for warmer weather to go on.

Convex. I don't follow instructions....and....i have always had them there....i prefer them there...

Edit: i don't recall their being directions...i'm pretty positive they do the same job on either end of the mirror. Everyone has their preferences. :)

Are you guys seriously bashing this dude on his mirror placement? I'm sure he could the on options you have on your trucks.

It's his truck... Let it go.
