I didn't go into detail in my build thread, sorry about that.

I shaped a 1x4 piece of pine to the shape of the holster and then cut it to match. Then I drilled holes in the drivers side of the counsel to match the belt loops of the holster. Put a couple of round-top bolts through, trimmed the lip of the counsel (must do), and it was done. I can do a more detailed write-up w/pics in my build thread if you're interested.

We were out scoping a camping spot yesterday and this was wrapped around a tree near a river. Looks like a silt net or something they put on a bank to help it hold there. We were removing it.
