I ran without one for a few months. Decided I preferred the steering response with it on.

I removed mine back in November and I haven't looked back. I honestly can't tell much of a difference at all in the way it rides.

supposedly it allows more down travel but I don't think I've put myself in a situation where I've needed that extra travel since then. The only reason I removed mine was because a bolt came loose and fell off thus allowing the sway bar to puncture my CV boot so I just said to hell with it and I took the whole sway bar off. I could throw it back on and I'd still be happy but I don't see a need to waste the time.

Sway bar controls what it actually says, the "sway" of the truck. So no sway bar is going to allow you to have more travel and be more free, but will cause body roll when driving normal, so be prepared for that if you've never been in a truck with a lot of body roll. Other than that, there are no negatives to the remove

I would keep it on myself, especially since you said you don't use it offroad that much. Body roll, steering response is going to have negative affects if you take it off and use it primarily on the road.
May want to check to see if insurance would pay for an accident if you take off. That is just a thought, no reason I say that other than a thought.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there's a whole lot to be gained by removing the sway bar from an IFS system. Only one way to find out though I guess!

Due to me having extended length fox shocks I had bad creaking issues when going over irregular bumps. Ended up being the sway bar..took it off and was easy to see the difference. I would say with nice shocks it probably lessens the body sway unlike if you had softer shocks/springs.

I removed mine for about 2 weeks before re installing it. I didn't like the way it drove on the road, which is 98% of what I do. If I was to hit a pot hole or get on uneven road, it would jerk my truck all over the road. Many say alignment is to blame, but with the sway bar back on, my truck drove straight as an arrow. 100% would recommend keeping it on unless you off road more than you drive on the road.
