Lol, what a dick! It's cool that he was able to do that and all, but how unsafe and ignorant.

Scared the shit outta the spotter (twice), almost tipped onto the other buggy, and then plowed right through their winch rigging. Then his dismissive laugh during the interview.

I bet he made some enemies after that move.

lmao! You guys realize that cars regularly drive over each other in this race, right? Hardly the sketchiest thing that happened that day and that has happened. I saw numerous situations where cars made contact. Should've seen what went on Thursday night at Backdoor with cars vs. spectators situations...

Both these guys have won KOH.

I haven't followed KOH enough to know the proper etiquette :p

I wouldn't survive a minute down there, I'm one of those assholes at the 4-way stop "No, you go ahead, after you "

Post some more vids for us so we can learn, then I won't sound like such a pussy :D

haha no worries. Its an aggressive race. People still stop and help each other out, but when you're a contender for the podium trail tampons aren't tolerated. haha. Contact between cars is extremely common. Its a race, not a trail run. :D

Yup, major bummer. He absolutely trashed that car too. I think he ended up 7th after the penalties. Navigation is an ongoing issue for people. Shannon Campbell would've won last year if he hadn't gotten turned around on a section of trail and cost himself a solid chunk of time.

I really think their rule of 5x the advantage of a missed obstical is a little obscene... But understandable

just filed yesterday. getting back pretty close to what i got back last year. i want to say this year's number is something like $4400. wife and i file through turbo tax and before sending it all through, we have the option to put some of it into an Amazon gift card where we also get an extra 10% on top for that, so $1000 to amazon, and i will get new tires from there, have some for getting dog meds, and maybe have a couple dollars left for wife to pick up christmas presents.

Over the past 7 years, my income has gone up each year, but so has my tax return. I sign up for no exemptions on my w4 so I get the most tax taken out up front, which makes for a larger return later. Married filing jointly, sales tax, mortgage interest all help. Next year, I will also get mortgage insurance. For those of you in Oregon, you can write off income tax if you itemize deductions.

Its pretty brutal, but they REALLY want the cost/benefit ratio of skipping sections to not be worth it haha.

Oh and finally got to lay my eyes on Plowboy in person!! Favorite rockbouncer!

    Hey guys:

Anyone know an affordable wrench in the Seattle area who will do a quick hub/bearing swap for me?

I picked up one of the assemblies from BamaToy during his Group Buy. I had a guy all lined up to do it - plus have him peek at my lift and hitch receiver for more work down the line, but he's gone MIA on me and won't answer texts or PMs.

I imagine I can always attempt it myself - but I've never done one and I'd rather not F it up.
