I believe so, you may need to relocate the shocks.

from the research i have done it will fit. just wont need the adaption bracket. these fit like a regular shock and are considered a universal fit.

No they're not. These are uniball mount as opposed to bushing mount which is what he would need for a direct bolt on replacement for a 1st gen.

notice the 2nd picture, it has the bushing style mounting bracket on it. idk if that will work or not but from what i read thats what he would need

    This ^^^
That adapter comes off and you can run a bolt through the eye, instead of having the bolt stick through the top (like a unicorn horn)

Yeah those adapters are for the 2nd genners. We have to build new mounts or do a bushing swap for those shocks to fit.

No. You would have had to remove the adapter AND relocate the shocks, which involves building some type of upper shocks mounts, either hoops like mine (above) or a crossmember (like the one also posted above), and then you would need to weld lower shock mounts onto the axle in order to accommodate for the 1/2" bolt that those shocks need to mount.

There is a difference between uniball mount like those, and the bushing mount that you need to do a direct bolt-on swap in the stock location. Does that make sense
