Haha well that's part of the reason why I can't afford anything big ticket. Paying for a wedding/honeymoon/down payment on a house. Modding the truck will happen slowly over time and I'm okay with that. So far it's really impressed me with what it can do stock.

 

LOL I hear ya I'm in the same boat. She was cool with me lifting it but that's the big ticket item for right now. Been saving up for a front bumper, but is going rather slow. LOL

Ugh I've been looking at winches all day... The bumper is gonna be about 1250 and I just dont think another 500 for a winch is in the cards, but I want one im just not working this semester and im digging into my savings.

 

dude don't do that cause you start that and you'll be broke before you know it

 

I actually came across that last week. thought bout it, great idea especially for the beach :insertbignigtryingtodrinkfromtheatlantic: but that would be something i would get after my truck was buttoned up. my want list is lengthly as is. just took U bolt flip kit off the list

 

sierra expeditions sells it for cheaper. but I pm'd the op and i guess you guys are getting free shipping which saves you maybe $10 in the end.

meh that bumper aint that great. the "side protection" will not protect the bed sides against a rock. the commercially available bumpers have side protection that will actually help you.

If the sliders were close I would in a fucking heart beat. Problem is since it's in VT, it would cost the same amount as brand new sliders just to use the gas to get there.

I agree, I would be much happier with a 4xinnovations one.

 

I love it. used it a few times. once at rausch just for fun, then once at moab I pulled a jeep up a 8' cliff, then once at rausch to get up the back side of break check.

If I had any free time coming up I'd say I'll go to vt for a snowboard trip and pick them up, then you can have your gloves back too lol

yeah i saw that and a buddy of mine has one and loves it. i feel like id rather just do it before installing the bumper, but i was also thinking of putting an air tank there and skipping the winch.

 

I'd rather have the winch. Warn pulls faster but for the price you can't beat the Engo. You looking at the 10k winch?

I know you guys were talking about recovery gear earlier, factor 55 makes some real quality gear with a lot of color options. Their prices arent bad either. Just another option for you guys. Website is factor55.com
