I'd like to secure my spare wheel and tire in the bed of my truck. This is only temporary until I find another way to secure it. Will I have any problems if I strap it to the silver "whateverthey'recalled" on the front inside of the bed? I just want to do this until I get a carrier or I can mount it somewhere.

Are you talking about the grey hooks in the bed? Securing it anywhere in the bed will be fine.

Yeah. I just didn't know how the composite bed would hold up to it over time.
