    Hey Guys,
Over the weekend I replaced the Climate Control #74 Bulbs with LED bulbs. Also, replaced the Ash Tray, Gear Indicator and Glove compartment bulbs. Huge difference:D Purchased the LED Map / Dome Lights from csjumper2003 and installed them over the weekend as well. Again, what a difference.

My question is this... I'm thinking about replacing the 4 #194 bulbs with LEDs but do I have to remove the Climate Control Plastic Trim/Ash Tray to access them?
I looked at the "Dash Take-Apart Instructions" from the customtacos.com website, and was wondering if I could just start at Step 6: Remove the (4) 10mm nuts from the dash molding below the steering wheel.

    Appreciate your help.

ahhh. this was one of my first mods! love my red interior. feels like a darkroom. what color you go with? very simple. 2 screws on top of speedo. black trim should pop off from what i remember(secured in by clips). if its hesitant, avoid breaking any clips and just pull the lower instrument panel off(4 10mm and 1 phillips screw iirc). a few more phillips screws to take out the speedo, unplug the harness in back and voila. 194 bulbs are plug n play. i used t10 wedge base bulbs from superbrightleds.com Just be sure to plug the harness back in and check all bulbs for illumination. if one or more is not working, take that bulb out and rotate it and reinstall for correct polarity!

Thanks Guys. That's what I was wanting to hear! Wasn't wanting to have to remove the climate control trim, etc. again!

Terminal I'm using the Cool White LED's from Superbrightleds.com. Appreciate the suggestion on the t10 Wedge. I'll check it out tonight.
All to aware of the "rotate it". When I did the climate control LED's this weekend I got one out of three correct the first go around.

**If you get a chance will you please send me a link to the ones you ordered**

I tried to get the cluster out of my '02 a few days ago and had a hell of a time doing it. The climate control bulbs were much easier to get to in my experience.

I had an older Honda that took just the two screws above the cluster and a tug to pull right out.

abunch and terminal, When you were removing the upper black plastic that sits over the cluster how did you get the drivers side vent off (upper left corner of the shroud)? Does it just yank right off?
