What does everyone see as their top 3 things that will get in the way of their team winning the Super Bowl next year. Or, if there's no chance really your team will win.. what are their top 3 issues. Also, what are the top needs for each team position wise?

    I'll start:

    1) Hunger - Are they going to play just as hard and just as fast after they've won the SB?

    2) Free Agent list - Golden Tate and Michael Bennett. I would like to see both of them back but I would not be surprised to see both of them go. Tate fits Seattle nicely, I don't think he'll be a 70 catch 900 yard receiver anywhere else.

    3) O-Line (Guards) - The weak spot of the offensive line all year. Have to firm this up in the draft and hopefully get a starter either via draft or FA.

    Top team needs:
    WR
    G
    DE
    DT
TE - Only if Miller leaves ..

    1) depth in recievers - resigning Boldin and picking up a yound reciever in draft
    2) red zone conversion - gotta get 7 more instead of 3
    3) return game/special teams

Need to tackle those and we will be good. I have faith Bowman will be good next year, hes a savage.

So, you think it Matt Ryan goes away the Falcons are a better team next year?

I don't think he's ever going to win a Super Bowl, which is what matters. He's not elite. Even Tony Gonzalez said that. He did say he thought he would GET there...but I'm not even sure about that.

Aye, I read the article. I don't know whether he's elite or not.. I just think it's silly to blame him. There are so many more glaring problems on that team that aren't Matt Ryan. Lots of teams would get in line for a chance at Ryan.

    Patriots:

1: Receivers..need to get a big name this year IMO.
2: Defense..need to either give Wilfork a incentive-laden deal or get someone else to take over. Either way I think you gotta start grooming his successor.
3: Overall health..I know it's a big deal for all teams but this and departures bit them hard between now and this time last year.

I view this in the short term. Best case I figure 3 yrs left of TFB. After him, who knows what the future will be. Have to try and win right now, as I see it their window is closing as well as his.

    1) Consistency: I swear one week we look great, then the very next week we look like a joke. Shit bugs me!

    2) Special Teams: Without David Wilson, who may never play again from his neck injury, our return game is non-existent. We also have the worst kickoff coverage, giving up huge yards and TD's.

    3) Health: Injuries are every teams problems, but it seems like Eli is the only iron-man on the Giants. Guys are dropping left and right with injuries. When all our starters are out there we look pretty darn good.

    Team Needs:
OL: last year was a joke, not one guy played well
DB: Safeties are alright, corners suck with the exception of Amukamara
LB: Beason was awesome, if he leaves we're screwed
RB: Andre Brown and David Wilson are a great 2 back option, but can't stay healthy

On a positive note, we got a new offensive coordinator

Since 2008, only Phillip Rivers has more 4th quarter INTs. Yea...Matt Ryan. Not Tony Romo. 2nd worst in 4th quarter INTs in the last 4 years.

I wonder what the ratio of interceptions to attempts would be. Is Ryan being forced to air it out more than other teams because they can't protect a lead, no running game, or they're behind? Still surprising tho..

Not sure. I saw that stat a couple days ago. Maybe on Numbers Never Lie on ESPN? Don't really remember what I was watching when I saw it.

Wow, gets me so emotional... fuck the haters. I love this team, so much personality and heart.

21 of 53 players on the team who just won the Super Bowl ... undrafted.

Thoughts on the impact of Michael Sam coming out before the draft? Will it make him drop any?

I have this weird feeling it will be the opposite, the NFL and the "badge" are going to be under immense scrutiny on draft day. It wouldn't surprise me to see them go the other way with it and overcompensate. Look how diverse and accepting we are!!
