    Yay indeed.
They aren't telling us what we'll get yet, but the weather man said this morning that he's expecting 'at least' six inches out of it. I'm crossing my fingers for more.

Well shit. That means I'm going to have a LONG day on Thursday, calling customers and telling them they're not getting their delivery until Friday.

Here's some late pics of the snow we got in WV a couple weeks ago. I was at the Snowshoe Ski resort, we got 17" in 3 days, including 13" in 24 hours. Here's a pic of the snow drift on my condo's porch...

This is the amount of snow that fell in about half a day.

The day we left Snowshoe, spent about 15 minutes just getting all the snow off my truck. Then an hour getting my buddies Passat TDI to finally start then out of its parking spot

Weird. Never seen an air quality alert in the winter.

Burning through too much oil and wood in your area.

We did have a coal/fly ash slurry spill here in WV today. Maybe some of that has already been evaporated in the air and is heading your way :crapstorm:

Yeah it's already in the river too. Less than a month after that Methyl Ethyl Death leak. Who knows what's in the water and air here at this point lol

Sounds like we're getting another 8-12 in NWCT. If that's the case we'll have over 2 ft on the ground. None of the snow has really melted from the last cpl weeks. All good. I'm working from home this time.

Back during the 70's oil crunch the market was flooded with cheap and inefficient woodstoves that didn't burn cleanly and released a lot of particulates in to the air rather than burning them for extra heat production like most of the modern woodstoves do. In some areas houses were actually equipped with a little light over their hearth that was controlled by the town, and if the air quality got bad enough the town turned the light on, and you weren't allowed to burn your woodstove unless you had no other heat source.
