Anyone recommend a good set of bolt extractors. I may attempt to remove the sheared bolt that's supposed to be holding the little rear brake line junction thing to my rear axle this weekend. The set I have didn't work last time I tried.

Bring up what you want on your phone and take a screen shot by holding the power button up on the top right and the button at the bottom of the screen. Quick edit press and hold both at same time

How big of a bolt are we talking about? I have a set of these that I use on the larger stuff, but if it's smaller and protrudes at all I usually drown it in PB Blaster for a few days and then clamp onto it with a set of vice grips dialed down as tight as I can get them and reef it out that way.

    For bigger stuff:
    http://www.lowes.com/pd_62099-281-394002_0__?productId=3732937&Ntt=bolt+extractor&pl=1&currentURL=%3FNtt%3Dbolt%2Bextractor&facetInfo=

    For smaller stuff:

    http://www.lowes.com/pd_97480-281-0502L3D_0__?productId=3071635&Ntt=locking+pliers&pl=1&currentURL=%3FNtt%3Dlocking%2Bpliers&facetInfo=

And then when that doesn't work, I've hammered nuts onto the bolt stalk and welded them in place before, but that's the absolute last resort because it's such a pain in butt.

Small, like 10-12mm. The problem is its recessed into the little bracket I'm trying to get it out of so I cant grab it with vice grips

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
I've got a set of these:

And I've got the slug that you hit with a hammer and it turns the blow into rotational force. I prefer to cut when applicable or drill out and remove.

Ooh...that sucks. If it's big enough to grab with those tornado sockets then hammer one of those suckers on and see if she'll grab. If not...Can you bend the bracket at all to let you get at the stub?

Get a drill bit that's smaller than the bolt. Drill down the middle until its out the other side. Try to pry the shell of the bolt into itself, keep stepping up in drill bit size if it wont cave. But don't get a bit that is the same size or you will fuck up the threads.

That just seems like a collossal waste of time unless you snapped off a huge ass bolt. If you have drill out the bolt anyways, you might as well drill the whole thing out and tap the hole. No welder needed.

Unfortunatley i cant run those wheels without the spacers because the offset isnt big enough to clear the calipers.
