Hello, new to the forum and tacomas. I just got my first truck, a 2005 double cab long bed 4x4. I got with the truck a toytec 3" lift with ebachi coils, bill stein 5100's, spacers for the front shock, and AAL. I also got Light racing UCA's. I ordered new bushings and boots for the UCA's. Also I am going to get some new U-bolts when I get the lift installed. My first question is what is the best setting on the 5100's (most lift but not going to break things or wear things out too fast)? I have a set of 33" terra grapplers to put on once the lift is on. Is there anything else I need to do or look for before or after the lift? Thanks

I doubt he will need a CMC with ntg's, they are a mild all terrain tire but it's a hit or miss really.

The guy who had the truck before me had all of this installed on this truck and took it off to sell it, so I would think that there shouldn't be any issues. I think he has an account on here too.

x2. Maybe some plastic trimming but alot depends on tire width and wheel BS.

285/70/17 is the size of the tires

there will prob need to be some plastic trimming done. CMC is a hit or miss like Large said. but yea diff drop doesn't really do anything. but if he had everything on it before u should be good.

3 inch lift with that tire size(33x11) and wheel bs of 4.5" should be just some plastic trimming. I'll be shocked if a cmc is required.

I have Mickey Thompson wheels with 0et and 4.5" BS with 285 BFG at and I didn't need to do any trimming.

Hmm..if its based on a 17x9 wheel, a 20mm offset will yield a BS around 5.7in, which will rub the UCAs and require some spidertrax 1.25" spacers to fit. Get a tape measure out and measure the BS.

It will be pretty close and more than likely still need some front wheel spacers to avoid rubbing the ucas. Do a test fit first but you may need 3/4 inch spacers for the front. Your wheels are a 5" BS.
