    I have auto, and LOVE my 4.56 with the 35s on the highway. Running them on 33s you could definately tell it was over geared. But with 35s, it is just a hint over geared. Great on the trail and awesome on the hwy. IMHO, it is the perfect medium. If you want over gear go with a crawl box IMO...

    allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
    Like I said just go with 4.56 if your not planning on going bigger the 35's, at 60mph im a 2300 rpm any faster and the mpg goes down fast.

    I used permatex rtv, the black stuff.

    S/c is overrated, the gears are a tremendous upgrade from an s/c but the stock gearing with 33s will keep your mpgs up a bit more.

    do i think i'd benefit from a regear? yeah probably, just dont feel the "need" too. plus dont feel like spending the money. it does everything i need it to do and with the manual, its easier to deal with the gearing

    talking about the sum of all parts. s/c with the manual makes the 35's easy to deal with. with 33's it was no issue what so ever

    Yes, 1" to match the front. The 35's did touch a little bit whereas the 33's do not. Wheel offset of course comes into play. Mine are ~4.5, with some small 15mm "offset" number mixed in there.

    Ah OK. I'm thinking getting tx or older fj trail teams wheels and having OMF make them beadlocks when I eventually change everything.

    That would be slick, might consider some of the new TRD wheels that are forged, I'm almost certain the TX and Trail Team wheels are cast. The forged ones would likely hold up as a beadlock much better.

    I have no real knowledge or experience to back up this theory but it makes sense to me in my little brain so I have myself convinced.:D

    The supercharger with 4.56 gears and 35's makes it feel like the truck lost 1000 lbs. mine easily has V8 power. Driving through the mountains and not downshifting on every incline makes it worth every dime. Not too many folks that have one would say it was overrated I would bet.
