    How do you break an antenna? The only way I have broken one is getting it stuck in the covered parking wrong, which would snap any antenna. The right spring will keep you from ever breaking an antenna. I have a firestik, I am not biased towards firestik, thats just all I have had. And the Cobra 49 I think, is cheaper than the uniden and has the PA function as well. Just throwing that out there. I am going to upgrade to some crazy shit eventually but I am cheap now so I got the cobra. Plus you can get it at walmart.
