    No, you want to move it because if you use your truck for how you are building it your battery will rip most spot welds on your driver wheel well....ask me how I know lol

    I received my cage, and it's a beauty. I'll try to get it installed this weekend.

    I do have a question. I'm doing the big 3 and need to know what size the lugs are on the alternator. Will a 5/16" ring terminal do the trick or do I need to get 3/8" terminals?

    Any input would be appreciated.

    I believe the stud terminals on the battery are 3/8" on the positive side and 5/16" on the negative side.

    They didn't even mention it to me. I walked in, showed them my ID, the dude grabbed it off the shelf, he complained about the weight, I signed the paper and left.
