Correct. The diagnosis is completed. From what the service advisor told me, they are going back and forth with Toyota to get warranty approved. The actual fix would just take a few hours once approved from corporate (or so I've been informed)...

Day 8 of driving the loaner Prius. It was kind of nice to be able to drive 405S through stop-and-go traffic from the 520 interchange all the way to Coal Creek on electric power. Still miss my truck.

Good question. Gives me a reason to call without looking like I'm getting antsy. I would hope they do not but worth checking.

I wonder if they figure I'll just buck up and pay for the repair if warranty doesn't cover it? Hope they realize if they say 'no', it's getting towed right back home.

 

I doubt they would charge you for the loaner,other then the initial $7 usually as long as the vehicle is in service it's part of the deal... As far as I understood?? ive had my truck in for non warrantied work and still got a loaner.
