So I did a search a did not find the info I was looking for.
I will give you a lil background first I am 21 with a 4 year old son so money is a lil tight. I have a lil bit of money left over after buying my son a four wheeler. My question is what size lift I should get. I like 3" kits but I would like to fir 33" tires or bigger. But I use the truck as my daily driver. And second where is the best place to get one. I have a friend that works at the local dealer and he will help me with install.

    UPDATE!!!lol
So i went with the 700 some people(wow) that voted for 3"
Here is how it turned out:

UPDATE: Got a new truck but went with a 6" this time

I vote 3- if money is tight- The kit will be cheaper, you won't take as large a hit to gas mileage, and you won't have to change as much stuff about the truck.

If you go a full 3 inches you can fit 33's (or like 32.8's)

3" and 33's dude. Especially if funds are tight and it's a daily driver.

3" is the most practical for me but 6" are awesome as well. My vote went with 3.

3", you can get by with a decent lift for around 300-400 bucks maybe less. I have a 3" with 285s which is almost a 33" tire, had to do some minor trimming is all.

3" inch on the Tacoma is best. Want a 6"? Get a full size truck that is better suited for such a big lift. 3" FTW

Since its your daily driver and money is a little tight. i would go with the 3''. i think you will like that once its installed and you get bigger tires. unless your really thinking of off roading it, i would just go with the 3''.
I cant wait to get mine..its coming soon.:)

I like the look of a 6" personally. I know if I had a 3" lift I'd only want to go bigger.
