why not just wait till you afford the icons? get all the miles you can out of these tires so its not wasted money?

 

Yeah my motto for all my customers is "do it once, do it right." Even if I don't get the sale from that guy the same day, I know he'll be 100x happier with the money he spent if he just saves it and puts it towards a setup that will outperform the latter.

Just my advice, but trust me...I know that itchy feeling you get when you know you can get a 3" lift with what you got in your pocket. You'll just have to trust me when I say I've been there and regretted it.

I've had a spacer lift, then bilsteins, then icons, now long travel. If I had to do it again, I'd wait a year with a stock truck and save up for the LT. I lost track of how many thousands of dollars I've spent RE-DOING my truck.

 

See this is the hard part. I'm so impatient and I want the best. I can't do that tho haha. I'll probly keep an eye out for icons uca and rims and maybe slowly peice it all together and just buy tires new. I probly have about a year left on my current tires. Maybe longer. This is what I need. Different opinions to pound realistic ideas in my head haha

 

or just max out some credit cards and BAM! LT.

 

And now with my job I can probly afford all of it by the time my tires wear. Just gonna keep an eye out for those peices so if anyone sees a good deal and let's me know it's be greatly appreciated
