Got one of these bad boys for work. I like the logic compared to the Blu. It gives you a warm vapor, similar to cigarettes. The Blu you can't feel, and I don't like that.

Those look good. The ms2's are definitely awesome on ice. Those Coopers look awesome though.

I want to do some snow wheeling!

What tire pressure are you using? Also what kind of lift do you have? Mine don't rub unless I hit a corner too fast.

In my signature for the lift. Honestly I don't know about the psi. Dealer did not say and I was in a rush to leave. I am sure I will need to fiddle with the pressure. At half tread the siping is hardly there.

Thanks for the clue. I need to check it out today.

This is the add that sold me.

Jason, I am not sure what you paid for yours new but the best I saw online was around $1150. I could test 285's for that price.

No siping? No wonder they suck on ice. Right now they're basically just a big smooth MT tire. I bet if you had them resiped that you'd notice a big difference. Congrats on the tires, though. Looks like you got a hell of a deal!

Me too. I'm always like "Oh god, is my air intake still above water? I'm going to have to swap all my fluids when I get home. Was that a rock I just hit? Jesus, I hope it didn't damage anything! Oh no, I hope that the block doesn't get thermal shock and crack! Man, I hope that the seals on my electronics are all still weathertight :goingcrazy:..." the entire time I'm crossing deep water.

    On a side note: WOO-HOO!!

Easiest way to figure it out is don't wash your truck . Let it rub then look for the plastic that is clean.

There is actual siping that you just can't see in the photo. The ms2 I had on were designed with a hell of a lot more. I didn't realize shops could re sipe a tire. I will research that.

I know that Discount Tire used to do it, and Stratham tire if there's one of those close to you, but lots of local shops have the siping tool as well. I had a local garage cut sipes in a set of Super Swamper's I had on a Nissan Hardbody back in the day, because the first time I took it out in the snow with those on it I nearly ditched it twice. Sipes made all the different in the world.

Edit: I just checked, there's no discount tire stores in New England. Who was I thinking of instead? Maybe Tire Warehouse?
