I think I've seen people that have had issues running a snorkel with a SC. My preliminary plan is the AFE CAI with a pretty filter. And maybe some sort of makeshift fender liner.

Airflow snorkel will work with the s/c, the safari snorkel could cause some issues.

The SC was overrated IMO but the gears are definitely not. The SC doesn't give you any real power unless you are past 3k rpms.

Edit: I don't want to veer this thread in another direction so I am gonna drop it :spy: I just want 35s :pout:

I'll drop it after this reply. Whoever told you it doesn't give any power till after 3k is completely wrong. It produces instant torque at any rpm. I tow with it, on the 35's. I rarely ever go over 3k when towing - yet the difference in power with the SC is substantial.

    1. anyone got a pic of a DCLB with 35's on a basic 3" lift? (The more stock the truck, the better)

    2. we need more pics in this thread anyway...

What is a basic 3" lift? 3" is 3" whether basic or advanced, so the look will be the same. Mine has a basic OME 2.5" lift if that's what you mean by basic.

Edit - ah - I see you're looking for long bed pics. Haven't seen many of them on 35's.

Okay 1 more reply lol, I had one on my 11 not on my 12, hence the IMO part of the reply. I think gears are a far better investment than a sc but if you can go for both why not.

Crawl box would be nice. I'm now trying to figure out what will be the next big ticket item. I figure I'll give it a year or so then think about SAS :D

And for what it's worth, I added the 2.85 pulley to my SC - which made a very noticeable difference in power (and mpg ).

Eh I just meant basic as in like OME or 5100 or any other lift that is advertised to be a 3" lift. I was trying to avoid getting pics of trucks with long travel and what not basically.

Anyone running 35's on the DCLB like this?
