Easy fix is to make it up to her. Make her dinner, or take her out for a romantic one some other night. Buy her flowers on Valentine's day and drop them off BEFORE you go to work, tell her how sorry you are that her plans went awry, and that you'll make it up to her as soon as you're able. Grovel, man, grovel.

It's certainly just as well-traveled.

Dads birthday on the 10th, girlfriends on the 11th, bestfriends on the 13th.
Then Valentines days

I had a winch and had to use it to winch up a hill climb.
I've got most of the recovery gear needed, i think!

This year I got him a set of polarized Ray-Ban wayfarer sunglasses. I won them at a raffle and I will never wear them.

Its not some much the birthday gift its more so the going out to the bar and buying myself a couple drinks and then the mandatory birthday drinks.

My truck is in the dealer today for the noise. I had the service manager listen to it on friday when I made the appointment and a writer listen when I dropped it. I just got a message saying they need more info on my noise. I called them back and was told that "they had to order a flux capacitor". I could hear the other guys laughing in the back ground, it is pretty funny that someone fell for that. I laid into him like I was pissed and hung up. If they want to play, I can have fun also.
