started lowering my weights to get full ROM

it's interesting how just a few inches can make something hurt that much more

kept my squats to 185-225

full ass/grass and holy shit. I thought my ROM was okay but I actually had to drop the bar on my last 225 set

Yeah people get really surprised when they leave the ego at the door... I did the same thing with my squats and feeling that deep burn is insane

So last night, before I left the gym, 3 of my friends who are pretty big but NEVER do legs were doing barbell shrugs with 405. Whoever was doing them had the other 2 guys lift the weight up for them on each end and they'd begin their shrugs. I walked over to troll and little and asked them why they didn't just pick the weight up, deadlift style and then begin their shrugs. On of them said, "dude, this is 405." I proceeded to walk over and repped out about 7 dl's and dropped it. I wish I had that shit on camera. I told them that if they did legs once in a blue moon, they wouldn't need 2 people to lift it for them. Burnt they asses

 

haha dumb people these days.... IDK why but ive been really iffy on my dead lift form... IDK if its in my head or what but Im really self conscious about it now

 

I don't like doing them in front experienced deadlifters b/c I know they look at me and are thinking about how wrong I'm doing them. So much shit to remember at once....reminds me of a golf swing.

 

PERFECT example.... Yeah I think I always over think it and what not... Then I got moderately heavy (135) and thinking and talking to myself in my head.......

"is this hurting my back or is it building my lower back and hams... am I doing this right, am I hungry.. yes Im hungry damnit... I wish I could have a cheeseburger w/fries a Dr pepper and a milkshake... maybe I should lower the weight.."

 

I do.. I wont lie.. never really liked that lift

hit bench last night with a little less than normal weight and focused on form. It felt so much better so i threw more weight on and still felt great. What a huge improvement.

i think I fractured my right ring finger because I'm an idiot. hahaha

 

set the bar on the floor inside the rack....as I was adding a plate I picked that side of the bar up to move it///line it up with the other side

apparently when I put it down, my finger was over the between the bar and the frame

still kinda swol
