Nay, Bonneville Co Sheriff. They have a lot of stuff that I'd want to do as a LEO so I figure why not. Seems like a good place to live and a job that'll never get boring.

 

Never seen the BF hybrid with light hoops. Looks good. Selling mine without the hoops haha

Well I believe in the second amendment and all bullshit about the armed forces aside, whether anyone thinks I was fighting for their freedom or not, I was ready to defend it at any time and I still am. That's what it means to me.

I agree. I wasnt able to serve though i tried twice. Either way if the time comes im ready to defend our freedom.

 

Hey guys, I have to make a speed run to Moscow this weekend and need your opinions on ID DOT concerning chain up requirements on my truck. I might come up 95 through the mountains. I looked at road conditions and the road is open and I will probably call DOT and ask them too. I have Nitto Terra Grapplers in good condition but they don't say they are specifically rated as snow tires plus I have 4x4.

 

Not that I have ever drove all the way up to Moscow, but I have never seen anywhere in Idaho with chain up requirements. Usually just signs saying "chains advised beyond this point in winter" but it's not required by any means.

 

Same in Wy. There are usually pull outs for big passes for chaining up. But you generally only need to worry about that if it is snowing bad while your driving through at that exact moment your there.

 

And generally where there is chain requirements, 4x4 is accepted as an alternative AFAIK.

 

Ok cool, thanks guys, maybe I will buy a set just in case and if I don't need em I'll return them when I get back to Cali. Looking to see if there are any big storms coming in Saturday when I will be on the road.

 

Remember that only rear chains can be used on 2nd gens.

yeah, got it. Probably won't need them at all, I like the I-95 run better than the other ways to get up there. Have two big mountain ranges to cross, one Friday night and one Saturday day. Weather looks like it's going to be good in the Sierras and Rain/snow showers in ID.
