    Jim - just saw the post about the police office. What a tragedy. We operate 2 of the 20 state-certified police academies here in PA. To be on a police force (other than the PA State Police), you must attend/graduate from one of these academies. We started a tradition where each class chooses a fallen officer to stand for during their class. At graduation, we invite the officer's family, present them a plaque and hang a streamer with his/her name and department crest on our academy flag - just like the military battle streamer concept.

    We decided to wimp out and not hit the spa today - ended up at -19 so we were probably smart.

    Snow tomorrow - already decided to close the college.
