It has an AustriAlpin cobra buckle on it. That's heavy duty stuff, I have them on my belts.

That looks pretty hardcore. Wish I had those back when I was shooting red carpets. Would have saved me a couple cameras.

    I never said cheap. lol

They are as high quality as quality gets. I think they are called an "Adventure" camera strap. So everyday guy probably doesn't need it, but if you have $15,000 in gear hanging on your neck on a cliff, you don't want a cheap strap.

I was just curious if anyone has seen them or used one.

Thank God I only have around $3,000 hung off me at any given time.

They do look like a nice piece of equipment though.

I understand the sentiment but I carry my cameras on the straps they came with.

Sorry if I came off like an ass. I was trying to explain the price a little bit and thought I would share since I could get deals on them.

Made a last minute judgment call and decided to push myself to only shoot film at 50mm over this trip all over SD and ND. 5 days and lots of hours in the road. I brought three rolls of 24 exposures and 5 of 36 so I should be set ha. They're all roles of B&W TMAX that I got on a steep discount.

What I've realized lately is the more limiting my camera is the more I have to grow, and the more the camera does for me the less I learn so I'm forcing myself to leave the digital at home this trip and see what I can get :)

Bringing 1979 Nikon EM, 8 rolls of b&w film and they e series 50/1.8 and that's it ha

Nice! If you're traveling with anyone (girlfriend maybe?) you should tell them to bring a camera to document as well. Goes with any camera, I s'pose, but I'd hate to lose those pictures if the film got messed up...

You didn't come across as anything other than wanting to share. I'm good with that and it's a great idea, just way too much money.

I didn't think that at all. I was just messing with you. Lol like I said it does look like a nice piece of equipment just a lot of photography things I could put that much towards. I was kind of shocked the first time I saw my black rapid strap for $75 but, now that I have it I can see why it costs that much and how nice it really is. I'm sure that strap is really nice too.

Nothing I've seen yet can match the quality that film has. Digital is nice but film just has that look to it. I think everyone that has never shot film should do it at least once to see the difference it makes. I used to shoot B&W exclusively and enjoyed it tremendously.

It's funny how most of the reviews on the 50mm 1.8 series E lens were always kinda crappy. I shot that lens for years and loved it. It was always sharp as hell. I wish I could find mine even thought I have the 50 1.8 D. The E was a lot better glass.
