I'm the same way.. I usually just fix the title for people or let them know in their post that they need some needed information or I gotta take it down. I too would like to see a template for sale threads. Would make things a lot easier.

At the same time though, ya can't really complain when the rules are stated ALL OVER the forum. There are strict mods (I'm not too harsh I don't think), but what some of you members don't realize is that there has been a lot of request to make the classifieds more organized. It's hard to please everyone without someone getting butt hurt.

Its made me not even want to attempt to sell anything there. To be honest I've never had a problem sell it a damn thing but for some reason my listings die on t4r. The way they handle their users is quite arbitrary. I've never seen a successful forum act in the way they do.

There's a difference between suggested guidelines and ridiculous rules.

I don't understand what the problem is.. The guidelines being "enforced" have been the most common sense guidelines since selling on forums began. I don't see how putting up a price, location, picture is hard. And if you can do it in the subject of your thread how hard is it to make an appealing title so people actually want to look at what your selling. It's not rocket science or brain surgery, it's simple fucking common sense.

For example: If you have two people selling the EXACT same thing for the exact same price, lets say a tan 3rd gen cargo cover. One thread has all the credentials: price, pic, location, good title. The other has no picture, no price, no location and a shitty title that reads "cargo cover". Now just which one are you more likely to buy from. The idiot who doesn't know how to market the item he's selling or the guy who really knows how to sell something by using his common sense.

I'm so tired of hearing about this stupid issue. All these rebellious 16-23 year olds need to buck up.

How's that Blink 182 song go again... "Nobody likes you when you're 23"

its more so the douchey over strict mods that really piss me off there. I've had ad's deleted for one minor error without telling me and i go back to look at the traffic on it and i cant find it. Its quite annoying.

Whats worse than the guidelines is their attitude. Someone made a good point in that people will initially disregard a post because the price may be too high. So they may not even open the listing. When before they could see it, see maybe he lowered the price in the ad or was a typo on the title. Its just there is no reason to be so stict on something so silly. Its like being the party police, nobody likes you. Ive been and am still a part of a LOT of forums. None are as strict and guideline us to death like T4r. Theres an obvious disconnect there from their people and the activity of the site shows it.

Yea, that is something I'd like to see be enabled as well. I just don't know if it's possible without giving the privilege to be able to change every members titles.

Well the address points to a residential house and I was confused so I texted him back. Apparently Google maps takes you to the wrong place, but his place is here. https://maps.google.com/maps?oe=utf...gl=us&ei=yuj7UtsljLKoAbfUgPAB&ved=0CCkQ8gEwAA

Looks kind of sketchy to me.

    GHETTO!
