    Well I took the solenoid off, and come to find out the solenoid housing/enclosure holds the fucking winch together. Looks like this is a bust…

    No need to upgrade the wiring to the fuse panel if you haven't done anything to it. I've done the Big 3 on one of my previous vehicles (05 Silverado) in the following manner using 1/0 wiring:

    On negative side:
    1.) battery to chassis
    2.) battery to engine block (ground bolt)

    On positive side:
    1.) battery to alternator with a waterproof ANL 200amp fuse
