    Thank Gawd, I go back to 1st shift next week.

    actually i did have to work a 36 hour shift one time. that sucked in a major way

    Shift work sucks !!! But ya gotta do what ya gotta do... im usually stuck on Alpha shift myself. I also get mandatory overtime since were short on manpower. Well at least i get OT pay, and hazard pay as well.

    Yeah, you ain't kiddin. Here lately, I've been rotating around 1,2,3. Each rotation is 4 weeks. And I work every other weekend. I just got off 3rd shift.... Weekends are time & half which is nice. My job pays very well and there's nothing else I could do (with my experience) to make what I do.

    They've got me by the *#!!BEEP*#@!

    we work 7:30am to 4pm......with the occasional ot! i really wish my company would go to four 10 hour days.......thats awesome being off on fridays!!

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    now that i'm the shift lead, i only work M-F 4pm-midnight. when i was a peon, i worked 6 weeks of weeks and then 6 weeks or weekends...blew ass...now its ok

    Broken and scratched tailgate, cracked rear tail light lens, coffee stain in driver seat.
    Unless you're on the front line puttin' "our boys" back together there is no way you should be working those hours, time to adjust. Good luck.
