I've got quite a few of the Stronghand clamps (Vise-Grip & C Clamp).. They're pretty awesome, and a great price, too.

Wondering if you could assemble your own table, and use their fixtures.

I'd imagine the cost of the plate/boring and Blanchard grinding would be a little cheaper than the pre-made ones?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yeah if i had a CNC mill that could handle 4' I would machine my own table but with my tools I couldn't build one as flat and true. It's also a time thing I don't have the time to machine out the plate unless it's done CNC.

5/8th holes on a 2" grid pattern I don't see why you couldn't use their tooling.

Where did you find it for 6k the one I wanted was almost 10k. i did think about it but I liked that i can remove the slats of the build pro and make my table 8' x 8' with little effort. And if i destroy a section I can always replace it down the road.

Now I see it 78x39 is in the 6k range.

Dude if you want it you can have it. It's pretty beat up and the table top is far from flat.

I'm not worried about being flat, I just need something for home. What size?

4x6x36 you could cut off the top and replace the top its only stitched on and have a nice new table. It's my old 2x3 torchmate water table with 1/4" plate on the top.

Guess what just arrived on the FedEx truck today!!!!!

And I got off the phone this morning with AirGas. They are dropping off an 80# 75/25 filled cylinder today for $222. That is purchase price, not rental. They said all I have to do is call and they will come swap out the tank for $38 plus tax each time.

Has anyone had any experience with snap-on welders, I'm new to welding and couldn't see myself welding anything bigger than 3/16 plate, I liked the miller 211 but I get almost 50% off snap-on through my school
