I've searched but can't seem to find anyone having the issue I'm having. First off '11 tacoma t/x, 45k miles, 5100's at 1.75" and 1/4 top spacer. Stock rear. New 265/75r16 bfg all terrains at 32 psi. Have had 3 alignments to get to these specs. Having a lot of bump steer on the highway. The steering wheel seems to move back and forth by itself. Not like a out of balance tire more like its following the road. Has somewhat of a dead feel right off center. Drives straight. The wheel dancing around making me crazy. Got the caster as close to 2.4 as possible. None of the alignments have helped. Any ideas??

You should have a little bit of toe in. It comes out to be an 1/8" toe in overall measuring from the wheel (not the tire).

Those tires like to pull around some. I ended up making my arms with some more caster built in to get about 3 degrees. It does help some. It is the nature of the beast. Off road stuff was designed for just that, off road. You can't make everything drive perfect on the road. Road crown will also pull the truck around. If it is always changing that may be what you are feeling.

Did you modify your factory arms?

Think I figured out a big part of the problem.... Stupid me assuming the f'ing idiots at NTB would have put my tires back to 32 psi after the alignment. Just checked them and all 4 tires were at 42-43 psi. I'll find out tomorrow morning, but have a feeling it's going to drive a lot better than today with way over inflated tires. Yesterday after the alignment it was the worst it had been since the tires were installed last week.

Another breakthrough. Much better road manners on the way to work, but still had a high speed vibration. Decided to pull the wheels off and check the balance. Turns out NTB didn't balance the tires when they installed them, still had the original weights on. After balancing, the truck drives 98% better. Bump steer is almost imperceptible. For future reference, NTB is full of f'ing idiots.
