    Good question. The tent weight does not include the annex. It is separate. For me I only set up the annex if I am out 2 or more days with the family so all of my girls have a place to store their clothing and to change.

    Boby, I have a question. I have the Mt. McKinley. In order to install the changing room I have to dismount the tent cover because the changing room use the same channel mount as the tent cover. That still the same or the design has been modified?

    By the way the changing room is something to have if you camp in family.

    I'm really pleased with the tent.

    Can I mount and deploy a tent like the Mt McKinley long ways? Instead of it deploying to the side, can I mount it on a bed rack and deploy it where the ladder is to the rear of the vehicle?

    I am happy the tent is working out for you. You could do it that way if you set the tent up on a turntable system. When you were driving it was to the side then when you stop you release and doing it around so it opens of the back. I will have this setup going this spring and will have a build on it.

    You can for sure, just take the dimensions of the tent closed and make sure it fits width wise as some of them can be quite wide.
