4.5" should clear, you sure these measure 4.5" BS???

Have you put them on to see if they do.

4.75" is the max and thats for 17" wheels, anything less than this you chould clear.

No, they are spidertrax. On the website they offer them (http://www.spidertrax.com/Toyota-1-1-2-Wheel-Spacers)
But like you said, they are probably not for Tacomas.. I'm an idiot haha

Its all about hub fitment, you want them to fit snug as bug (gay saying I know). If they are hub centric and theres no play then you are good.

Not sure of there's a difference. .but if you notice that's for pre 2001 tacomas..the fj,4runner, and 01 - up tacos use the same 1.25"

Yea reading it more it says the pre 2001 tacomas use conical style lugs which means they are lug centric. .then the wheel spacer outer is hubcentric...the 2001 and up uses shank style lugs and is hubcentric on both sides

Yeah I hate ordering from toytec. They overcharge on shipping. Just bought new bushings from there and they charged $14 shipping on 2lbs worth of pushings. Pretty outrageous.

Decided I'm going with a 6" lift. Just want to make sure I have everything correct for what to order.

    Going with the Headstrong Offroad,

    - 4" lift spindles with brake lines
    - 2” Fabricated strut spacers
    - 4" cast lift blocks ( Replacing the 4 inch block with a 2" deaver add-a-leaf and 2" block )
    - Ubolts and hardware
    - Carrier bearing drop
    - Rear Brakeline brackets
    - Rear twin tube gas filled shocks

And I will be going with either Duratracs or NItto Terra Graplers. 285/70/17
Not sure which yet. I really want the duratracs but they are close to 300-400 more then the NTG's.

I'm also seeing spacers for the carrier bearing... How do I know which I need the spacer or bracket or both? and what size? I know I could measure it once the lift is on but Then I wouldn't be able to drive it while i waited for the brackets to be delivered.

If you order the headstrong 6in kit you'll have everything you need. Minus wheels and tires in

Honestly man..go 35s or 315s..and the terras are nice tires but they just don't look aggressive at all..I just ordered a set of 285/70/17 nitto trail grapplers for my wife's 2011 4runner at 1100 shipped

Yeah, but I live in cali. More hot and rainy days then any snow. And I dont offroad to often. How are the nittos in rain. I have some coopers that always try to slide the ass out when it even touches water.

I may juat go with a 4 inch lift for now and go with the 285s. Run that for awhile and bump it up to the 6 inch later.

Everytime Im on tacomaworld its had to make a decision with so many options and opinions lol

I had terra grapplers on my tundra and they did fine..I just wanted something more aggressive. .switched to trail grapplers which is what I went with on my tacoma..wanted even more aggressive and more noise..so now have the mud grapplers. ..I'm a huge fan of nitto which is why I run them on my truck and the 4runner is getting them...if you want your truck to look like this go 6" with aggressive 35s...if you just want some lift and a good all around tire do the 4" with 285 nitto terra grapplers..I wanted my truck big and wide..no offroad at all..just looks

Ive been leaning towards the duratracs. Lots of good reviews. Except for sidewall being soft. But im never in rugged trails that I would be worried. But in the moutain snow few times a year yeah. Just they are such an expensive tire.. cheapest ive found was 250 each.
